Love Island alum Chloe Burrows is embarking on a journey to find love once again, following her breakup with former Love Island partner Toby Aromolaran. Chloe, who is now part of the cast of Celebs Go Dating, opened up about her decision to join the show and shared details about her conversation with Toby regarding her new venture.
Chloe and Toby first met on the popular ITV dating show in 2021, eventually finishing as runners-up in the seventh series. Unfortunately, their romantic journey together came to an end a year after leaving the show. The duo, who was once known as a couple, split, and Chloe is now determined to explore new possibilities on Celebs Go Dating.
Speaking about her candid chat with Toby, Chloe stated that she informed him about her participation in the E4 dating series. Despite their past, the conversation was amicable, reflecting their continued friendship. Chloe revealed, “It wasn’t a difficult conversation because we are friends. Out of respect, I did tell him and he was like, ‘Do it.’ I don’t know if he was jumping for joy but, he knew.”
Toby had previously mentioned that he and Chloe were no longer in communication, stating that they had reverted to silence. He cited the deep connection they once shared as a reason for the shift. Meanwhile, Chloe expressed her motives for joining the show, emphasizing the importance of self-discovery after being recognized as part of a couple.
