This Cybersecurity Awareness Month, streamline and secure your sign-in process by using passkeys.
Passkeys allow you to access applications or websites in the same manner as unlocking your device — through a fingerprint, facial recognition, or a device PIN. This method is not only easier but also offers more security compared to traditional passwords. Importantly, your biometric information such as fingerprints or face data remains on your device and is not transmitted to Google. Passkeys are specifically designed to protect against common online threats like phishing.
If you are prepared to transition to this method, you can set up a passkey for your Google Account by visiting g.co/passkeys. Click on “Create a passkey” and follow the instructions provided.
